Installed customer supplied ceiling fan. Customer already had a previous ceiling fan removed. I removed a dimmer switch and installed new single pole switch and plate to control new ceiling fan. No issues found. Repair successful.,
Voltage enhancement system factory specs 15uf actual 11uf is below factory specs recommend replacing. Air movement system blower wheel needs to be cleaned. Indoor air movement system factory specs 1.4amps actual 1.18amps. Found outdoor service disconnect has corrosion. This will cause poor connection to the outdoor unit. Causing start-up issues for refrigerant pumping system as well as higher amp draws recommend replacing. Outdoor voltage enhancement system factory specs 35/5 actual is 33/4 recommend replacing as it is close to being out of factory specs and range of operation. Refrigerant Pumping System RLA factory specs 10.7amps actual 5.79amps, Outdoor air movement system factory specs .80amps actual .60amps Delta T 23 degrees. Checked all electrical wiring connectors and harness are tight and secured
Checked operation of system. Return air 73DB, supply air 53DB, temperature drop is 20 degrees at 63%RH. Static pressure is -.10 in the return, +.05 in the supply. Air circulation system is drawing 1.3 amps and the voltage enhancement system is within specifications with a reading of 10.2. Heat transfer media is clean. Outdoor heat transfer media is clean. Air exhaust system is working properly and drawing.6 amps. Refrigerant pumping system is working properly, drawing 6.4 amps, system pressure is 116/299psig at 82 degrees SH 11, SC 9. Voltage enhancement system is within specifications with a reading of 34.1/5.01.
Ac inspection getting a 18 degree delta t. Evaporator looks clean. Condenser coil dirty due to dryer vent being close by. Rla 8.9. Fla 1.1 also recommend adding foam to suction line to prevent it from rubbing out on concrete. eletracal connections are tight Voltage enhancement system read within factory spec of 40/5 Voltage gateway looks fine. Pressures were 131/349. operation is normal at this time
Warranty, repaired condensate removal system.
Check Mini Split operation, went over system control with the customer, 56 degrees supply air, no problems found.
