First of all, talk about outstanding service. I contacted Paramount on a recommendation. They exceeded my expectations. I was diagnosed with Covid, and our furnace went out! 🤬 First of all to get somebody too even come out and work on our furnace during this time was UNBELIEVABLE!! Our technician James was super empathetic, and worked on our furnace for over eight hours. Unfortunately he was unable to fix the problem, but reassured us that he would be out in the morning with help to take care of the problem. Within two hours of him returning our furnace was up and running and our house was warm again. I highly recommend this company, as well as James working on your furnace. Thank you so much Paramount!
The tech’s were very professional, neat and friendly. They did a great job.
Everything went great. Everything they did was explained. Showed me how configure the thermostat. Great crew would have them do more work for me if needed.
Fred fixed the problem quickly and recommended protection options for the longevity of the furnace. Was really honest with the things that were pressing versus “nice to have”. Extremely professional and respectful.
Response from Paramount Heating & Air:
Jerry, thank you for your kind review. We are so grateful to have technicians like Fred that love this industry and educating the people of our community!
He showed up at the expected time. Very courteous. Same day service. I would recommend Paramount Heating & Air
I called Paramount because they were the closest to us and we had water all over our floor. Simple problem, the cooling coil drain must be clogged. So the guy comes out and before we go to the furnace he asks me if I want him to fix the problem today or just a diagnostic. I say preferably both but let’s talk about it. So he goes to look at the furnace while I have guests upstairs and 30 minutes later I find myself looking at an iPad with 5 different options that adds up to about $2500! He tried to sell me on 1) a freeze stat 2) some sort of bionic filter 3) a “renovation” of our cooling coil drain piping 4) a schedule of regular services for our drain pipe and a couple other pieces of BS. I’m a commercial HVAC professional engineer... everything he tried to sell me is completely unnecessary for a residential system. The biggest was that he wanted to take out the trap in our drain line. I questioned why he would want to do that and he said he’s never seen that before and didn’t know why it was there. Really? You’re a professional company and you don’t know that trapping drain lines is regular, common, good practice that is WELL KNOWN throughout the HVAC industry? He asked “why would you trap a drain line?”... I told him to google it. Then I loved the freeze stat... Really? There’s no outside air being brought into the coil. When I questioned him on this he said in case the coil leaked... if the coil leaks I’ve got bigger problems then worrying about if it freezes up. I can go on and on about the other stuff too but this is getting too long... Overall, everything he tried to sell me was ridiculous and by far unnecessary for a residential system. I feel sorry for other people who don’t know anything about HVAC that your company dupes into buying this crap. By the way, I ended up paying over $300 for him to simply blow out a clog in the drain!! $300 for a clog?!? Plus he didn’t review this ridiculous price with me before he did it. Never calling you again. Telling everyone I can about this absurdity.
Tony was very nice, thorough, friendly and professional. I would call him for additional AC work.
