Tim gave me a ballpark idea of the cost and a great explanation of what we might do. He asked Wally to visit and prepare the exact estimate. Wally came to estimate the job the same day I requested the bid. He explains things very well. He guides but does not pressure. It was clear the 25 year old A/C unit needed replacing. The estimate was detailed and fairly priced. I had other estimates for comparison. I learned I could request Wally and his colleague to do the installation. This mattered to me because Wally and colleague did a similar installation 13 years ago in another home where I lived. Jackie in the office scheduled installation for a Saturday. To my delight, she asked me to be ready at 7:30 AM. Both Wally and Jesus were at the curb at 7:15 but did not ring the door bell. I went to them. They started early. When opening the furnace to replace the A coil, Wally checked to be sure the furnace is safe and working properly.. He explained what they would do, did it beautifully, tested the system, and we have a beautifully cool house. I was able to pay with a credit card through the secure app on Wally's phone. I have a paid receipt for a job especially well done. Huge thanks to TDH Mechanical.
