Latest need to call on Thompson was water heater quit and was leaking water thru the door at its front. When I called and spoke to Will he set up an immediate appointment and the tech would be here in about 20 minutes! Ignacio arrived exactly as promised and proceeded to determine the problem. The 20 year old water heater was finally in need of being replaced! Ramon arrived with the new unit and together they proceeded to remove the old and install the new unit. Then they checked all the faucets to make sure they were responsive before they left. Thank you Will ,Ignacio, and Ramon for such a speedy recovery!

Price is repair a small section of 3/4 inch copper on the outside of the home. The copper pipe had a pinhole leak and needed to replace. Once the new pipe was installed I turned on the water and checked for leaks. No leaks were found.
Thompson plumbing provided estimate to perform leak investigation. Customer is going to open up downstairs bathroom ceiling himself expose upstairs drains and perform his own leak investigation. If he finds leak or does not he will call us back to reschedule. Per customer he thinks his insurance is not going to cover his claim so he wants to save as much money as he can.
AC Maintenance completed on(2) 6 yr split gas Maytag attic units; cleared both condensation drain lines; both fiber filters 20 x 30 x 1 in place in good condition; cleaned both condenser coils; all components operating properly within manufacturer specifications; no recommendations at this time

11 yr old Goodman furnace. System is operating within specs. Recommend a blower wheel cleaning. Recommend replacement of the asbestos flue venting and adding a sediment trap to the furnace gas line. Customer is aware of the ducting condition in the attic
Work under warranty Thompson plumbing removed leaking trap. Checked plastic threads. Threads appear to be fine. Installed trap. Ran water for over 5 min to test. Ran garbage disposal while running water. No leaks found as of now. Took video. Cleaned up work area. No charge for warranty job. Leak repair on same section of pipe from previous repair. Walls are already opened. Shut off water. Drained out system. Cut out small section of 1/2” copper pipe. Installed new section with repair couplings. Turned water back on. Check for leaks. Took pictures. Cleaned up work area. For this job we replaced a leaking p trap underneath the kitchen sink. We also installed a new basket strainer . The strainer was in really bad shape and had lots of rust. Once the strainer and p trap we’re installed I ran water for approximately 5 minutes to check for leaks. No leaks were found.
Found a low voltage short at the existing low voltage wires. Removed shorted wire and rewired the system. System now functions.
Thompson plumbing will return Wednesday morning between 8-10am to replace a small section of copper pipe above previous repair. Customer already approved estimate
Gave estimate to finish installation of gas line to gas meter, permits are required which was not known to homeowner. Sent estimate via email.

Inspected water heater and Roman tub faucet and recommended replacement of both . Existing water heater is slow leaking, and Roman tub faucet is badly corroded. And has no access to valve body with the exception of going under coach. Relit water heater , still strongly recommended replacing heater. No warranty
