Wonderful service! Very understanding.

I came to Scott a total mess. Having a severe anxiety disorder and ADHD made the process of filing bankruptcy even more stressful for me. He was understanding and knew exactly what to say and do to make things easier. I swarmed him with emails every time I thought of something else and he answered them quickly and put me at ease. I highly recommend him.

Very satisfied

Scott Waterman represented me on a Chapter 7 bankruptcy after a drawn out, ugly divorce. He could not have represented me any better. He replied to my emails or phone calls the same day, if not the same hour. He laid out the entire process in advance, he was concise on what I needed to produce and why. He was pleasant and professional and made what could have been an unpleasant experience actually pleasant for what it was. I have been in the legal field for 30 plus years and I know an excellent attorney when I deal with him/her and Scott Waterman is unequivocally an excellent attorney.

I am at Municipal Court in Philadelphia defending a credit card collection case. The plaintiff has failed to bring a witness so it cannot prevail. With a proper defense an attorney can prevent a snap judgment which acts as a lien on the debtor's real estate. Unlike other counties, municipal court judgments act ac liens on real estate.

Today I attended a hearing granting a landlord permission to proceed with a eviction. In a bankruptcy if a landlord obtains a judgment for possession prior to the bankruptcy, the debtor's rights are limited. It is important for a debtor to file prior to the entry of a judgment for possession so the automatic stay will continue.

I attended a chapter 13 meeting today with a client and he was nervous beforehand. But I prepped him and all went well. He was surprisingly relieved when it was over.

Working to keep a chapter 13 case from being dismissed. The court is very reasonable and works on a timely basis.
