Replace up to 40' of the entire line from the meter to the house because there are several leaks all over the entire line causing the yard to flood. Technicians spent several hours trying to hand dig to expose the existing water main and couldn't. Technicians stated that there are several puddles in the yard indicating that there are multiple leaks on the line. Technicians recommended to replace the entire line to prevent from spending a lot of time performing exploratory work to try and locate all the different leaks which would be very costly. Technicians will need to turn the water off to the house and drain the system. Once the existing system has been drained, technicians will excavate to expose the existing water service main. Once the existing water service main has been exposed, technicians will cut out and remove up to 40’ of the entire existing water service main.
