My rug looks nice. I think it would have been really helpful for me if Jason had pointed out places where the rug was worn and where he saw stains and so when he brought it back I'd have gone over before. I didn't see the worn spots (and so now I wonder if the cleaning made them worse) before he picked up the rug and we'd talked about the stain and he was pretty sure he could get it out, but it's as visible as ever. This is not to criticize the cleaning; I've never had a rug cleaned that was new to me. It just would have clarified my expectations.
