As an expression of gratitude for always taking such great care of me, I sent the following order to the front-office staff at the Fillmore: five pounds of brisket; five pounds of chicken; one half pan of cornbread; one half pan of greens; one half pan of peach cobbler, and one half pan of banana pudding. Now, I didn't actually eat any of the food I sent down to 2115 Woodward Ave, but I did receive a flurry of "thank you" texts and emails from the Fillmore's GM, Bar Manager, Talent Buyer, as well as several other employees. One of the texts I received from their staff, "Thanks so much for lunch today. It was a huge hit!" After a tip for the courteous staff at Lazybones, the cost to feed a party of fifteen people totaled $369 and change. I'm told that even after filling all the bellies with happiness in the front office there was still plenty of food leftover for several hungry bar-backs, and members of the Fillmore's security personnel. The delivery driver was prompt and punctual, and the young ladies working the counter inside the restaurant were extremely helpful and courteous. Two thumbs up, Lazybones!
