Marie and Joddy called due to a breaker controlling two of their bedrooms that continued to trip. Upon arrival, I met with Marie and Joddy and discussed the issue they were experiencing. I inspected the electrical panel and found the affected breaker tripped; when I attempted to reset it, the breaker held for approximately 30 seconds before tripping again. I then began a thorough diagnostic by checking the receptacles and switches in both bedrooms. Continuing my evaluation, I accessed the crawlspace and discovered that at some point additional wiring and a receptacle had been added under the home to supply a dehumidifier. The dehumidifier and its setup did not appear to be in good working condition, so I unplugged it. After removing that load, I reset the breaker and verified it held properly, restoring power to both bedrooms with no further issues. I explained my findings to Marie and Joddy and recommended completing the diagnostic, along with safety enhancements and the installation
