Great company, great service

Eric Messer came out for LightemUp Electric and he did a great job for me. I'd heard good reviews at work about this company and I was very glad to find out it was all true.

Responded to call for bedroom power outage. Upon arrival customer advised of panel location and found and reset tripped breaker which restored power to the bedroom. Inspected bedroom. Found multiple surge strips in the room. Advised customer surge strips could trip afci breakers. Customer agreed to panel surge protection. Installed 2 GE thin breakers on existing circuits to free up space for surge protector breaker. Installed 1 surge protector in the panel. Tested new surge protector. Surge protector is operating properly at this time. Advised customer of the need to replace all circuit breakers in the panel. Customer declined panel rejuvenation at this time. Responded to call for need electric for dishwasher. Upon arrival customer advised she has a dishwasher but is replacing the existing dishwasher with a new dishwasher. Customer stated existing dishwasher has no power currently ran to it. Inspected existing dishwasher. Found no wiring for dishwasher. Customer agreed to option. Installed new dishwasher whip below kitchen counter. Tested new whip. Found 120 volts to whip. Labeled dishwasher in electrical panel. Inspected existing Bryant electrical panel. Found no damage to panel. Advised customer of worn breakers in the electrical panel. Customer agreed to new option. Replaced all circuit breakers in electrical panel. Tightened all neutral connections. Tested all new breakers. All breakers are operating properly at this time. Found no other issues at this time. Customer is 100% satisfied with today’s service. Responded to call for outlets not working properly. Upon arrival customer advised garage gfci is not working and garage door opener outlet is not working. Customer advised he would also like an outlet installed for 2nd garage door opener. Inspected. Found gfci is defective causing no power to outlets. Advised customerof findings. Customer agreed to option. Replaced garage gfci outlet. Installed and wired additional ceiling outlet for 2nd garage door opener. Tested all. All are operating properly at this time. Inspected electrical panel. Found aged worn breakers and double tapped neutrals. Advised customer of the dangers with his panel issues. Customer declined repairs at this time. Responded to call for kitchen lighting not working. Upon arrival customer advised her husband powered the lights on and heard a pop. After that the lighting no longer worked. Inspected dimmer switch. Found dimmer switch was not compatible with LEDs. Advised customer of the options. Customer agreed to replace dimmer with a single pole switch. After removing existing switch plate found slight burning on the back of the switch plate. Advised customer of the heat signature. Customer agreed to panel inspection. During panel inspection found aged breakers and double tapped neutrals. Advised customer of the dangers with the panel issues and the heat signatures on the breakers. Left estimates for repairs. Removed existing incandescent dimmer switch. Per customer request installed single pole switch and new switch plate. Tested new kitchen lighting switch. Switch is operating properly at this time.
