Customer wants us to install a transformer for the pool lights. Also to install a hard wired ring doorbell system. She needs to talk it over with her son before committing.
Had job to pull out old feeders due to one leg not reading 120 and pull in new feeders as I tried to pull out feeders wires would not move after strenuously pulling. So I determined the conduit was compromised and had to be abandoned. So I ran a new conduit run and pulled new feeders and terminated.
When arrival fabin explined that he front light was bad. In evaluation checked switch and was good. Had to do a diagnostic to check lamp had to use the big ladder when looking at the wiring noticed one of the wires was completely bad. Rerun a small switch to the lamp again. Checked the lamp and worked perfect.
Replaced panel did whole home redivice also added smoke detectors in all required areas.
When arrival I spoke to Robert about how he’s power in he’s home was unstable. When checking the panel seemed fined but when testing phases I noticed that one leg was giving me 127 and the other one was giving me 110. When checking meter fpl gave me 120 on each leg but when testing the main breaker I only got 127 on one leg and 110 on the other and the neutral was burnt so was the meter main Combo on the nuetral lug. Explined to Robert he needed to change meter main and run new 1/0 copper wire.
Replace panel added main surge protection and two secondary surge for compressor also found the oven and dryer spliced behind a wall with a 6guage wire. Ran circuit for dryer and oven and spliced in a accessible junction box in the garage by fridge.
I had to replace A kitchen GFI I explained to the owner about her smoke detectors .
