Install two dimmers supplied by ADT Invoice paid over the phone by Walter Bailey, ADT supervisor. On site tech was having issues with syncing, so I removed cover plate to confirm with him that the devices had a working neutral and ground by using my digital multi meter. Devices work lights ok manually. Devices were in a detached garage so Z-wave signal May require a booster or phase bonding device.
Customer had living room circuit tripping breaker. Did major diagnosis on 15 devices on circuit. Eventually narrowed it down to the last 3 receptacles. Could not see any arcing flash marks. Reinstalled all devices, removed stab connections, and used hook and screw connections. Test and verified as each connection was made. Circuit is now restored to operation.
Customer pool pump not running. Upon arriving I checked main panel breaker to pool panel, OK Pump GFCI breaker in pool panel was tripped. Reset breaker pump started, turned timer control to off, pump stopped and breaker tripped? Reset breaker again, turned timer to on position, pump started. Turned timer control to off, pump stopped, breaker tripped again? Repeated this 10 or 15 times, with no more tripping. I set the time to the correct time, and called Direct Energy. Requested Direct Energy to Authorize a $167 diagnostic fee in order to open panel and inspect timer in order to determine the cause of the intermittent tripping. Request denied because “issue is OUTSIDE of the home†They will only pay the service fee of $79 Authorization # 106648169 Customer was not willing to pay the diagnostic fee at this time, and stated if the issue reoccurs, he will call us back directly.
Mr Shelton called us out to get an estimate to replace panel and re-wire the home, replace aluminum circuits with copper. I gave Mr Shelton 3 options he will discuss it with his wife and is getting other estimates. He will call to let us know.
Acorn on first ground rod was not tight. I made sure acorn was tight and secure second acorn was tight.

Returned Thursday morning and installed led tape lighting under kitchen cabinets on two drivers off existing wiring. Also replaced last breaker from panel rejuvenation on previous visit and installed fan and fan rated box in kitchen. Tested and everything is working properly Thanks - klay and tony
