Customer has Ring doorbell button and ring security camera to be installed. Formerly quoted after our first visit just after kitchen fire. Existing doorbell was not functioning, replaced transformer, but could still not determine where the chime box itself was located. Customer says the chime was working before the fire, so she would contact the restoration company to get the chime issue resolved, and call us back. But still wanted to proceed with the camera installation today.
Replace a circuit breaker in the electrical panel and replace a electrical cord form the disconnect to the a/c unit.
diagnosed issues with breaker to back room tripping. After pulling out all the devices on the circuit found that Hotwire was making a connection with the ground. All of the devices were new so we carefully put the devices back into the box and restored proper function to the circuit.
