I had to have a tech out again the next day to adjust the work from the day before so the job wasn't completed correctly the first time. Also, it seems like only a "standard" and more expensive package was offered to repair the issue. It involved changing out a lot of items that I'm not at all confident were necessary.

I am very pleased with my recent experience with AmeriServ Garage Doors. Glenn, the AmeriServ technician pointed out right away frayed torsion cables on both sides as well as the wrong size spring that was shortening the life of my fairly new motor. Glen also found many loose bolts & screws. He made necessary repairs as well as preventive maintenance such as lubrication on the necessary moving parts. Glenn was extremely knowledgeable about the mechanics of garage door openers, professional, and a really nice guy! The prices were very competitive. For any future garage door repairs, I will call AmeriServ again. I was able to schedule an apt next day. I found AmeriServ listed in Angie's List monthly publication.

Overall satisfied with the job Dustin did and AmeriServ did for me on Dec 12th. Dustin explained everything that was needed to repair my garage door, he was efficient, and he was even nice enough to replace a light bulb in my garage as well. My original appointment window was missed, but Mr. Allison called and explained the reason, apologized for the inconvenience and offered me a discount on the service. Was kinda pricey to repair, but again, overall I'm satisfied with the customer service and assistance I received.
