Tommy and crew did a wonderful job of limbing and trimming our trees. He meticulously took out all dead limbs while trimming and shaping each branch. Amazing arborist skills and super patience to see that the job is completed well. We highly recommend him and his professional service!

A recent storm sent two large limbs off my pecan tree into my neighbor's backyard, which is rarely good news. Tommy Hicks Tree Service happened to be cutting down a tree across the street and they agreed to give us an estimate. This was after we'd already hyperventilated over the numbers provided by a "shinier" tree removal service. People get all caught up in smooth logos and crisp websites. Me? I want to talk to someone that has actually used a chainsaw on a tree. Bonus points for an estimate that didn't require selling a kidney and DOUBLE BONUS points for his crew working in the pecan tree limb removal, AND some maintenance pruning on my 40+ year old willow oak-- on a FRIDAY afternoon. Hiring them? Best. Decision. Ever. The entire crew worked more efficiently than some machines I've watched, they were done with the whole job in less than 2 hours, and even cleaned off a few chips that had blown into the gutter.
