The pre emergent will prevent troublesome crabgrass seeds from germinating later in the season. I also applied a broadleaf weed control to control visible weeds. Please allow 10-14 days for weeds to start to twist and curl and approximately 3 weeks for weeds to disappear. Also please wait 24-48 hours to mow lawn. The nitrogen we have in our fertilizer should help push the red thread out however if it continues to spread I'll recommend a fungicide treatment.
