This was the first time I've hired movers and I was so glad I did. They were on time. The driver was excellent and backed up my steep narrow driveway with no problem. They got right to work, were polite and asked questions throughout the move when they had one. Things went quickly and I was so relieved to not be packing all those boxes down the stairs. The unloading process was great and they asked questions about individual boxes and were very respectful of my belongings and home. I couldn't be happier.

The move took twice as long as the quote, but with one less mover and a credit for time loss due to having to make two trips because the truck was too small, I paid a couple hundred more than the quote. My friend has used Redefyne twice and recommended them and is mortified to hear the service provided to me was not similar. I will not be recommending Redefyne to anyone! The movers were very polite!!! But it felt as if they were purposely going slow. The problem was the time spent trying to load the items into a truck that was too small, which is the purpose for the quote, right? It was supposed to be three movers in a bigger truck and take 7 hrs. I was told that was worst case scenario and it was probably going to be 6 hrs. It took 13.5. I paid for 12 hrs at the two man rate vs the three man rate for an additional $250. But $400 more than expected. It is not all bad. It was nice to not have to lift anything! But I started to feel like I should step in and help out because of how slow they were. And I'm easy to please and go with the flow! My daughter hired movers and they were hustling the entire time! The money is spent now and I've moved on, but it wasn't worth it!
