Travis Robeson is an exceptionally responsive communicator and stayed in touch with us through every step of our project. His attention to detail and customer satisfaction ranks above any other contractor we’ve used. Our exterior paint job is beautiful. Travis and the rest of the R&D team surpassed our expectations for our project. He was quick to respond whenever we had questions or requests, he communicated regularly and always let us know what to expect regarding schedule and completion. He followed up regularly and made sure the work was completed to our satisfaction. The R&D team was always courteous and professional, cleaned up the work area each day and was careful to secure the house when they left. Today, I painted a master bedroom in Raleigh, NC. I used a low-VOC, eggshell finish paint to create a soft, durable look. After prepping the walls by filling small holes and sanding, I applied two coats of paint. The room now has a fresh and updated appearance.
I repaired and painted sections of wood rot on the exterior of a home in Raleigh, NC. After removing the damaged wood, I replaced it with new lumber, sealing all joints with caulking to prevent future damage. I then primed the repaired sections using oil-based primer and applied two coats of exterior paint to match the rest of the house. The repair was seamless, and the new paint protects the wood from weather exposure.
I completed exterior painting on a home in Raleigh, NC. First, I prepped the surface by power washing the exterior to remove dirt and debris. I then applied a high-quality latex exterior paint using a paint sprayer for even coverage. Two coats were applied for durability. All the trim was carefully painted by hand using a brush and roller. After completing the job, I inspected all areas to ensure a smooth, clean finish. The exterior now looks refreshed and well-protected from the elements.
I repaired wood rot on the exterior window sills of a home. The rot had spread across three sills. After cutting away the damaged wood, I used an epoxy wood filler to fill in the gaps, shaping it to match the existing profile. Once dried, I sanded it smooth using a Makita orbital sander. I then primed the repaired areas with Zinsser Cover Stain oil-based primer and finished with a top coat of Sherwin-Williams Emerald Exterior paint for durability.
I painted the living room of a home today. The walls were prepped with a light sanding using 120-grit sandpaper, followed by wiping them down with a damp microfiber cloth to remove dust. I applied two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select Interior paint in an eggshell finish using a Wooster Pro brush for the edges and a Purdy White Dove roller for the walls. The project turned out great, and the color choice brightened the space significantly.
I worked on painting the siding of a two-story home. The existing paint had started to peel, so I first pressure-washed the siding using a Ryobi electric pressure washer to remove loose paint and dirt. After it dried, I applied a coat of Behr Premium Plus Exterior paint using a Graco airless sprayer. The sprayer allowed for even coverage on the lap siding, and I followed up with a Wooster Pro brush to touch up corners and seams.
I repaired wood rot on the exterior siding of a home. I removed the damaged wood and replaced it with new cedar planks. I then primed the area with an oil-based primer to seal the wood and prevent future rot. After sanding smooth, I painted the section with exterior paint in satin. I used a Wooster Silver Tip brush for precise application along the edges and seams.
I took on a brick exterior painting project today. First, I cleaned the brick using a stiff wire brush to remove debris and loose mortar. I then applied a masonry primer with a roller and followed up with two coats of Behr Elastomeric Paint. This paint allows for expansion and contraction with temperature changes, providing long-lasting coverage. The bricks now have a modern, uniform look.
Today, I painted a garage floor using epoxy coating. I began by thoroughly sweeping and cleaning the surface with a pressure washer. Once dry, I applied Rust-Oleum EpoxyShield in a gray color, using a roller with an extension pole for an even finish. I also added decorative flakes and a non-slip additive for safety. The epoxy provided a sleek, durable finish that will withstand heavy use.
I addressed wood rot on a deck railing by removing the damaged wood and replacing it with pressure-treated lumber. Used galvanized screws to secure the new pieces and sanded them smooth. Primed the repaired sections with Zinsser Cover-Stain Primer and finished with an exterior-grade paint to match the rest of the deck, ensuring long-term protection.
I coated a garage floor with Behr Premium 1-Part Epoxy Concrete and Garage Floor Paint. Cleaned the concrete surface thoroughly, filling in cracks with a concrete patching compound. Rolled on the epoxy coating, ensuring even coverage and adding slip-resistant flakes for safety. The garage floor is now more durable and has a professional finish.
I painted the shutters and front door of a home using PPG Timeless Exterior Paint in a semi-gloss finish. Removed the shutters for easier access and lightly sanded the door to prepare the surface. Applied two coats of paint with a brush for the door and a sprayer for the shutters. The entryway now has a fresh, inviting appearance.
I painted the kitchen and dining room using Behr Premium Plus Ultra in an eggshell finish. Started by removing old wallpaper and sanding the walls. Applied a primer to cover any stains and ensure proper adhesion. Used a combination of brushes and rollers to apply two coats of paint, resulting in a clean, updated look.
I repaired wood rot on a window frame using Bondo Wood Filler. Removed the rotted sections and treated the area with a wood hardener to prevent further damage. After applying the filler, I sanded it smooth and primed the surface with Kilz Premium Primer. The frame was then painted with an exterior paint to match the existing trim.
I prepped and painted a garage floor using Rust-Oleum EpoxyShield Garage Floor Coating. First, I cleaned the concrete thoroughly, etched it with an acid solution, and patched any cracks. Applied the epoxy coating with a roller, starting from the back and working towards the exit. The floor now has a durable, high-gloss finish that resists stains and chemicals.
