I called Travis with R & D Painting to make inquiry about the removal of wallpaper in our dining room. In fact, it was more than wallpaper, but a layer of wallpaper, then paint, and another layer of wallpaper. Travis responded within a few minutes, we agreed on a time for him to come out to provide an estimate and he showed up on time. Travis gave me a price of $950, which included the paint and all materials. Since I was going from burgundy wallpaper to navy paint, this was not an easy job. Three men showed up and they were very professional and congenial. The wallpaper was all removed, uneven places patched, and walls sanded. They applied two coats of primer and left for the first day. On day two, they sanded again, removed all dust and then applied two coats of paint. Not only did they paint the area above the chair rail covered with wallpaper, but they painted the ENTIRE dining room. Blinds were removed, window hardware removed, floors covered completely, and they even wet mopped the wooden floors when done. All areas were thoroughly cleaned before they left, including the steps coming into our home. I have had "painters" before but NEVER professional painters like this. When I have an additional need for painting, I know where I will go; to R& D Painting. I highly recommend R&D Painting without reservation. They are simply the best! Thank you so much Travis.
