Point Loma Electric Technician Javier Gonzales did a brilliant job in analyzing and planning for a major upgrade to my fireplace. I’m going to be installing a new full gas fireplace insert. This requires (among other things) that a special metal electrical conduit outlet be installed within the brick fireplace with installation holes that have to be routed and drilled through the brick fireplace structure. In addition, I requested that Javier review several problem electrical outlets throughout my 50 year old house. He found three outlets that are not up to code that will be replaced and upgraded on his next visit. He expertly diagnosed a tricky problem in my hallway light that has bothered me for many years. The circuit turned out to have had been incorrectly wired during original installation coupled with corroded and failed wiring in the overhead hall light fixture itself. All through the servicing and site survey, Javier was very courteous and professional. Thank you again for the great work!

On this project, we will be doing a subpanel cleanup. This involves a full 360 cleanup with remounting the panel correctly, as well as redoing all the terminations inside of the enclosure properly. Next on the project We will provide breaker blanks to fully enclose The exposed bussing on the Zinsco main panel. We will double check labels to ensure proper labels. Next on the project, we will be doing a small troubleshoot and circuit, restore on one circuit that controls the main bedroom and bathroom as well as the guest bathroom and guest bedroom ceiling fans. The customer had a cleaning company that came in, and used vacuums on the circuit, which intern made a break in the line. All breakers have 120 output at the main subpanel.
