Upon arrival Adam and I discussed his water heater. He stated it was 1.5-2 years old and he wanted to make sure to keep up with the maintenance on it. He stated that at this time he has no other plumbing issues he’d like us to address. I discussed a service membership with him and he stated that at this time it’s not for him. Afterwards to begin the water heater drain and flush I turned the cold water off to the water heater and the hot side to isolate the water heater. I drained it down by opening the T&P valve to release the vacuum and allow the water to drain freely. After it was fully drained I closed the t&p valve and flushed with water till the drainage no longer had sediment coming out. I turned the gas back land relight the pilot light. Bled the air out of the system to ensure properly functioning.
➖minor rebuild on both toilet ➖replace two toilet handles Find arrival to the home the homeowner made me aware that the toilet in her sons bathroom would not flush she also stated that the toilet in the hall bathroom was also not flush. After further diagnosis I found that the toilet in her sons bathroom did not have a toilet handle I also found that the handle in the hall bathroom was broken and not flushing properly. I also noticed that the fill valve on the toilet in the sons bathroom was going bad and that it needed to be replaced. I then proceeded to give the homeowner upfront pricing and options to get this issue fixed today. The homeowner decided to have me go ahead and do the work to get the issue resolved. I began by shutting off the water to both toilets and then removing all of the old parts. I then proceeded to install a new fill valve flapper handle and supply Line on both toilets. Upon arrival to the home after talking with the homeowner he had this water heater installed in 2016, the power light had went out over the weekend but was able to be relit and the heater was functioning as it should, the water heater is a ream I did inform the homeowner that we have had problems with the rains in the past and if this happens again we will need to do a proper diagnostic as well as possibly replacing the gas valve the customer stated since the water heater is functioning properly now he does not want to proceed with anything else and will let us know if this happens again
Upon arrival to the home the homeowner proceeded to show me the area in which the pipes or needing to be insulated. I proceeded to insulate the pipes that needed insulation and then once I was finished I made the homeowner aware that I was done. All pipes are insulated at this time.
On today’s visit the customer had made us aware that there was slight damage to the panel covering the front of the water heater shed. We were happy to acquire a sheet of half inch pressure-treated plywood and cut two 67 1/4 x 25 and three-quarter dimensions and install with new screws on the front of the water heater shed. The customer also made me aware that before it would not feel it would run consistently and he calls his water bill to go up. Initially I informed the customer that I could give him an upfront price to diagnose the whole home to ensure that the toilet in question is the reason for the high water bill but the customer was certain that that was the issue so I continue to give the customer multiple options and upfront pricing. The customer was not even interested in rebuilding the toilet more concerned about replacing it fully so that the new owner would be fully satisfied. On today’s visit the customer made me aware that there was major leakage in the crawlspace from the tub on first floor as well as poor flow/pressure in the hall bath and master bath lavatory faucets. I checked the pressure of the home to ensure that it was isolated at the faucets with the pressure issue as well as determined the tub waste and overflow was disconnected at overflow portion and had signs of failure at the tub shoe area. On today’s visit the customer requested an estimate to install an icemaker shut off valve and supply line/customer supplied dishwasher/relocation of vanity in bathroom as well as new drain and waterlines for said fixture/relocation of washer box drains and waterlines. Also was interested in pricing for installation of a new toilet. We assest the situation thoroughly and provided the customer with multiple options and upfront pricing. She let us know that this was not within budget and had other estimates that unfortunately we could not accommodate. Install new 40 electric water heater Install electrical disconnect box Upon arrival hooked water hose up to water heater to drain. Proceeded to cut copper pipe and soldered a pex adapter onto both hot and cold sides. Turned off breaker to heater. After checking to make sure power was off, removed power wire going to heater. Once heater was drained proceeded to remove old heater. Vacuumed all the water and debris out of pan. Set new heater inside of pan. Installed electrical disconnect behind heater and ran wire to disconnect, then added wire to run from disconnect to heater. Piped in heater with pex pipe and poly fittings. Put service sticker on heater with date of installation and model and serial number of heater. Turned water on to heater and allowed to fill up to check for leaks. No leaks were found. Turned power onto heater. Disconnected and removed old toilet in downstairs bathroom. Removed old wax ring from flange. Put together new toilet. Set new toilet with new wax ring.
On today’s visit customer made me aware that a faucet that was previously installed had a leak at the pop-up assembly area. I was able to tighten the pop-up assembly properly and tested very heavily with a full sink more than a dozen times and now no leaks are present and functioning properly nick pleasants Carrboro,nc
Upon arrival to the home the customer stated she thought she possibly had a leak but the leak has been fixed in the past so this time I discovered that they have a mold issue and she is going to call a mold remediation company to get the issue fixed

On today’s visit I performed a 65 point whole home inspection in for the majority the home is in great condition as far as plumbing goes. The customer had two main concerns which are one kitchen sink faucet and both lavatory faucets as well as the washing machine drain line which cannot be accessed due to the addition being built around it.
