Wonderful experience with Quality Service Today

We needed urgent service to help get one of our showers working again before some guests arrived for a long stay. Quality Service Today scheduled us in on the next working day, the two plumbers showed up early in their arrival window, and then spent a long time going over both our requirements for the specific repair as well as other plumbing concerns and questions we had for them. They then went over their estimates in detail with us, making sure that we understood all the options and relative costs before we started work. Finally, they were able to complete the work quickly and cleanly, hitting the lowest estimate we discussed. All in all, a great experience!

Arrived at home performed camera inspection of main lines found several blockages and lines went over three different options with homeowner. She is leaning towards option two at this time. Her husband is not home and will be home this afternoon and she will go and review options with her husband they are leaving for the mountains today and will be back Monday. She requested that we give her a call Tuesday morning.

➖99 dollar drain special ➖Service partner plan Upon arrival to the home the homeowner made me aware that they were having an issue with the whole home not draining. The customer stated that she had somebody come out this morning to pump down the septic tank but they were only able to pump it down about halfway. I was able to look down the mainline clean out to figure out that it was a mainline stoppage somewhere outside of the home. I then proceeded to give the homeowner upfront pricing and options to get this issue taken care of today. The homeowner decided to have me go ahead and do the work to get the issue resolved. I’ll begin by running my drain machine down the mainline clean out until the blockage was cleared. Once the blockage was cleared tested everything thoroughly to make sure that everything was flowing properly. The office will call the homeowner to schedule for our drain specialist to come out and camera the lines to make sure that this issue does not happen again.

Preformed a 65 point safety plumbing inspection. Drained the water heater and flushed to clear out sediment. Informed Jim of the one issue found while preforming the check and he stated he would take care of it (compression ring on left side drain of kitchen sink)

After arriving to the home, the homeowner made me aware of how their septic pump alarm went off today. When I arrived, the light and alarm were on. Located on the left side of their home, is the 1000 gallon tank and pump basin. The homeowners moved in 3 years ago and never had issues with this pump station. They also have no previous work or records done on the pump. When they moved in the septic system was pumped. I began by opening the riser lid and control box. Approximately 200’ away the homes septic drain field is located. It seems to be operating on a LPP system due to the many valves, and main gate valve. The smaller lines have different pipe schedules and diameters. The pump was attempting to pump, but was not moving the effluent in the tank. However when I touched the pump, it seemed that something dislodged from the pump and it began pumping to the drain field. While observing the pump,mi noticed water spraying out the discharge line. This could have caused the pump to overhe

After arriving to the home, the homeowner made me aware of a Well that he has that is not functional. He has another Well that they use, but he is interested in getting g the old one restored as back up. I began by taking a look at the Well, which is an old hand dug shallow well. The well is equipped with a jet pump, and a disconnected pressure tank. The well has water, but the homeowner is unsure why they switched to a new drilled well. I began by checking power, which I was able to determine 120 V is not present as it stands, but we would need to make an artificial neutral, and ground the circuit in a different manner. I gave the homeowner options with upfront pricing to restore the old Well. At this time, I have emailed the emails, and he will let us know which one he wants to move forward with. He needs time to think.

After arriving to the home to perform an inspection of the drain field I inserted my camera into the outlet side of the septic tank, after running my camera approximately 30 feet into the line there appears to be an obstruction in the pvc distribution line leading to the drain field, after making the homeowner aware of this she requested to not receive any and estimates on removing the obstruction and just focus on the failed septic tank, currently the homeowner is getting second opinion and I will be in touch throughout the process

Upon arrival Tom had stated that the ceiling dripping water issue had happened again. He stated it happened about 10 mins after daughter started shower. After recreating the conditions of some one being in the shower I was finally able to recreate the drips from the ceiling. To correct this issue the following was preformed, Cut out and remove caulking from upstairs hall bath shower/tub where the tile meets the tub unit. Reapply caulk to the area where the old caulk was removed, after applied/installed clean up the area. Let Tom know the caulk needs to dry for 24 hrs before regular use/running water.

After arriving to the home to perform an evaluation of the septic system at this time due to the amount of trees and roof structure on top of the outside of the tank I do not have access to the outlet side of the tank, currently roots have heavily impacted the tank itself and the table require replacing, I have provided multiple upfront prices for that portion of the project, the homeowner is going to remove the roots and possibly the tree itself before moving forward with any repairs, at what time I will be returning to inspect the drain field

- Pump up to 1000 gallons (additional fee per 100 gallons over) - Agitate the septic tank until all solids are a liquid sludge Upon arrival I spoke with the homeowner and she made me aware of the location of the septic tank after further evaluation I noticed that there were giant tree roots covering the outlet side of her tank. I then made her aware that she would need to get those removed in order to look at the outlet side of her tank and her drain field. I then gave her multiple upfront options and she decided on option 1. After signature approval I began pumping the tank and agitating all the solids into a liquid sludge. After pumping it down I noticed a massive root system in the center of the tank. I then let the homeowner know our sewer specialist would inform her on the best way to handle the situation. Upon completion I cleaned up all tools and materials.

Upon arrival Erika and I discussed the issue that started today(05/16/2023) mid to late morning. She stated that there was water dripping from the first floor ceiling and they had cut all the water to the home off. Stated that it lined up roughly with were we had replaced a shower valve in the upstairs hall bath. In an attempt to identify where the leak was coming from I turned the water to the home back on. I ran every plumbing fixture on the second floor in an attempt to recreate the issue they were dealing with. After running every combination of fixtures upstairs(both showers and tub, all three sinks and the two toilets) I was unable to recreate the issue or cause any water drips from the ceiling. After making Erika aware of this I stated that the hall bath sink(they complained of it always being a slow draining) wasn’t plumbed in properly. After making her aware of this she chose option two, which was replacing the drain line under the upstairs hall bath without a membership. Afte

Replace delta’s single handle tub shower valve cartridge Replace main shut off in down stairs hall closet Upon arrival customer explained that they had a few different things going after going over everything I provided options and customer stated it was a little more than they expected but decided to have the two most important things at this time so with there approval I shut water off at main valve in crawlspace and replaced gate valve in down stairs hall closet with new pex ball valve also replaced single handle delta tub shower valve cartridge in upstairs master bathroom after all work was completed I turned water back on and tested all work and found that everything is now working properly with no leaks

Upon arrival Jim and I discussed the issue he and his wife were experiencing. He stated that they went to use the hose bib next to the garage for the first time this season and when they turned it on it on it sprayed out from behind the hose bib and was leaking under there home. After a thorough evaluation I constructed a few options for them. After choosing the option best for them I Turned the water to the home off and drain down the system to depressurize it. When the systems drained down cut into the pex supply to hose bib in the crawl space, remove the old hose bib that’s burst by removing the screws mounting it to the brick. Install the new hose bib, and secure the new hose bib to the brick and then terminate the junction for the supply to the hose bib. Turn the water back on to the home, test to verify proper function and no leaks.
