upon arrival Dan and I discussed his concerns with the shut offs through out his home. After thoroughly evaluating all the shut offs it was found that a majority of them where failing/failed to shut water off to the fixtures. Some leaked from the packing nut. After showing my findings to Dan he decided to replace the 12 shut offs. To preform this I Shut water to home off and drain down the system. Remove failing/failed shut offs in the downstairs hall bathroom(3) hot and cold for the faucet and the toilet shut off. To replace the toilet shut off it will need to be pulled first to create ease of access. After installation of new shut off, reset toilet with new wax ring and bolts. In the kitchen(3) remove and replace the shut offs for the hot and cold side of the sink faucet, as well as the dishwasher shut off. In the upstairs hall bathroom(2) remove the failing shut offs for the hot and cold side of the sink and replace with new ones. In the en-suite upstairs bathroom(4) remove and repl

Remove top and bottom cove and test thermostats and Elements to determine bad part Drain water heater and replace lower heating element Upon arrival customer explained that water drain would have a bad smell found that washer drain hose was stuck down into trap and when I pulled it up I could hear a lot of water poring out made customer aware I believe it was siphoning water out of trap allowing sewer gas to come back into home so I raised line and strapped to stop it from falling back in if smell comes back customer will call Customer also made me aware that hot water didn’t last very long at all so I ran hot water and checked temperature. Temperature was at 120f but only lasted 8 minutes so customer approval I checked water heater in garage and found that it was only 3 years old and lower element was bad with additional approval I drained water heater and replaced element and at not extra charge went ahead and replaced lower thermostat as well fill heater and is now heating pro

Run snake down outside clean out to attempt to clear blockage Upon arrival to the home the homeowner made me aware that they were having an issue with the whole home backing up into the basement bathroom. Upon further diagnosis I came to the conclusion that there was a soft blockage in the mainline that was causing all the water to back up into the downstairs bathroom. I gave the homeowner upfront pricing and options to get the issue resolved today. The homeowner decided to have me go ahead and do the work to get the issue resolved. I began by running my drain machine down and outside clean out until the blockage was cleared. Everything is flowing properly at this time.

On today’s visit the customer made me aware that after the master bathroom shower was a news they noticed discoloration on the white mortar and River rock. There was a repair made in the past on the drain itself by the original contractor who built the home five years ago. I ran water for 30 to 45 minutes spraying on multiple walls with in the shower and did not find any evidence of water exiting a shower into the adjacent room or the toilet area. At that time I gave the customer and upfront price to test the shower pan with a blow ball to see if I can discover the water level decreasing which would indicate a leak in the shower pan. They let me know that the Home had been inspected on Friday and have not received results yet. At this time even though I offered coupons and spoke with my manager about the situation They still would like to wait and see what the inspection may entail and if nothing they are going to move onto their new home in Greensboro Nick pleasants Whitest,nc

Borrowed to the house to customer stated that they got new countertops installed recently and ever since then they had a leak underneath the sink after looking underneath The sink I discovered that there was a problem with the garbage supposal which was not reinstalled properly the screws holding the garbage supposal to the actual sink we’re missing as well as the gasket underneath it as well also the garbage disposal had lots of signs of rust and leakage on that as well and so I suggested to the customer that should be replaced or we should bypass it by removing it and adding a new basket strainer and piping, after talking with the homeowner to provide it upfront price as an option for them they chose to go with not completing any of the work because of the price after talking to them about the price and offering discounts and a few other things they still chose to go with no work so this time we’re not doing nothing here at this home if They change there minds they will give us a cal

Upon arrival to the home the homeowner made me aware that the icemaker was having problems making larger ice cubes and at the time was making smaller ones. The homeowner believed that this was because of the new PRV that was Recently installed. Upon further diagnosis I found out that the water pressure was set at 40 psi, I adjusted the PRV to 70 psi to remedy the issue.
