Upon arrival homeowner informed me that they kept hearing a squealing noise coming from the air return so he changed filters and it never changed the noise, went into attic and found that the (WHEEL) on blower motor on the shaft was not touching the housing but actually spinning on the bracket that holds the fins mounting support that’s connected to set bolt. Going to follow up tomorrow once I get price and availability on new blower motor (WHEEL) and/or if they have any warranties considering the unit is only three years old........ they do understand if they have a parts warranty that they will have to pay for labor and if not parts and labor. Also can’t guarantee that the blower motor won’t work correctly with new squirrel cage (WHEEL) because of bearing issues due to the failure with the failed squirrel cage.
