good service and explained each step he did

The only concern was that the filter they used was a little small and created a thud everytime the AC came on. I put in a different filter and thud stopped.

Upon arrival homeowner informed me that he feels like the AC never shuts off. Checked refrigerant levels Suction line PSI 128 with saturation at 44 degrees and Liquid line PSI 368 with saturation at 122 degrees which is good. Checked static R: .6 and S: .4 which is higher than manufacturers specifications. Went inside of home and found dirty air filter because they have been doing remodeling on home, took air filter out and put one of company supplied air filter and retested static and R: .28" and S: .3" which was good. I noticed when I arrived that thermostat was set to 68 degrees and it was 75 on thermostat, homeowner informed me that they just turned the AC on and I told them that they need to set it to a temperature and leave because it makes the system work that much harder to try to catch up to temperature because everything in home will heat up. While there it did go down 3 degrees within in the hour but seemed to run longer than normal I found fan was on recirculating mode and

Per Homeowner he wanted me to call before I headed out to Gardnerville because his complaint was that his system will never shut off and just keep running and his thermostat is set to 67 degrees. He informed me that he just replaced filter, I asked him to see if the linesets were frozen inside and outside and he said NO. I had him go to the thermostat to see what the fan mode was doing and he said it was on the On position, I had him turn it to AUTO position and told him to call me in the next hour to see if it shut off after 15 minutes and to see what it did in the next hour. I told him that if it kept running that I would be out there but I never heard anything. Will follow up tomorrow with a courtesy call to see if that solved the problem

Upon arrival homeowner informed me that light switch was not working, went to light switch and turned fireplace on multiple times. Checked pilot throw and it was completely engulfing thermocouple and thermopile, tested millivolts on thermopile when OFF at 387 and ON at 189. Took fireplace apart and polished both flame sensors and retested millivolts on thermopile and when flames were ON it was at 267 and OFF it was at 499 which is range. Upon Arrival found that everything was in sequence of operation but the gas valve was not turning on. Found 24 volts going to gas valve but no ignition. Beat on gas valve a few times to get it to unstick and it turned on. While furnace was not running found hot surface igniter with burnt off silicone and whiting. Will follow back up to install new gas valve once it comes in and also install new hot surface igniter. Due to the situation we will contact the realtor for access to home considering they are putting it on the market. Refer to picture for realtors number. Furnace maintenance Check operation, check combustion numbers 6.5% oxygen and 16ppm carbon monoxide, check for gas and co leaks, checked fan capacitor 25mfd, check amp draws on the fan 4.3 and the inducer motor.5amps, check static pressure .4inwc on the supply .2inwc on the return, checked safety limits and pressure switches, check igniter and heat exchanger, cleaned flame sensor and burners, cleaned pressure ports and Venturi hose, customer changes his own filter, tested operation. Recommend keeping up on maintenance and looking into an air purifier and possibly a maintenance free up t0 7 years water filtration system.
