Upon arrival find the gas valve for the water heater has failed. Checked millivolts on thermopile and reading 575, burner is clean. Travel to obtain necessary parts and return to replace defective gas valve and pilot assembly that came with new gas valve. Drained water heater, filled back up while doing gas connections. Checked all gas connections for leaks, went to all sinks and tubs and got as much air out of lines as possible. Told homeowner it will take at least 1-2 hours to get hot water back and maybe some air will spit water out. Homeowner is aware of all situations with water heater meaning time for water to get back, if they smell gas where to turn knob to off and air in lines.

Water Heater Maintenance: • Drain water heater • Inspect burner • Verify no gas or CO leaks • Relite pilot light • Verify no water leaks • Purged air from home • Verify operation of water heater Suggest replacing air conditioner Suggest activetek air purification unit to protect the home from viruses, bacteria and allergies. Connect to hvac system which purifies the air in the home every time furnace or air conditioner runs

This current AC is 18 years old which puts it in prime position for major component failure to occur. Suggest preparing to replace AC Current air conditioner uses r22 refrigerant. R22 has been phased out since 2010 and starting January 1, 2020 it will not longer be made nor able to import into the United States High static pressure on return side of ductwork. I stood on the back porch and could hear what sounded like a rattle. The rattle sounded like it was coming from the breaker panel. I’m not sure exactly where the noise is coming from. Homeowner had an electrician come out and he could not figure out where the noise was coming from either. All of the numbers on the compressor and fan motor look fine. Cleaned unit and could not hear noise from unit, only outside near panel. Registers reading 52 degrees with home at 74 degrees. Unit cooling and functional upon departure.
