Loud buzzing noise that wasn’t occurring yesterday happened when I was here today. It was coming from the contactor. I replaced the faulty contactor and Ac ran properly and sounded as it should. Upon checking refrigerant levels it seems as if the suction side was low with saturation being at 29. However refrigerant levels are unable to be balanced with current return air conditions. As discussed prior to unit installation, customer stated he was going to cut second hole for return air himself and didn’t want to pay us to do it. Air conditioner is functioning but customer is going to run into freezing issues until more return air is introduced into system.customer still adamant about doing it himself but currently has a broken hand. If he would like to contract us out to do the work then we will upon his request for a designated price. Until second return is added no further diagnostic procedures and refrigerant balancing can be done should customer run into issues.
