I came out today with the proper refractory panels, burner assembly, and the log set. I had to reconfigure the whole fireplace decorations and burner for the proper look that they were going for and that they were sold. Once completed I had Kim come upstairs and look at the unit to make sure that she was satisfied with everything and as she was. The job is complete and we will hold onto these parts for next time Steve comes into town. I informed them of everything that we do and provide as a company as well as we have a device that could be installed into the duct system that creates hydrogen peroxide molecules and will kill 99.9% of the bacteria wherever the airflow goes. This device could help against what’s going on in the world right now.

I came out today to put in ledge stone panels instead of the herringbone panels that the unit came with. As I started pulling the unit apart I found that the panels don’t match exactly and these panels will not accommodate the burner and logs that are here. I called Steve with AES And got everything rectified. We need to get a different burner as well as a different log set, chalet instead of the lodge. He is shipping the, out and they were put under DEPT 01 Devine as a PO. We will call her once they come in to reschedule the visit.

Mobile Home Furnace Maintenance • Cleaned furnace • Cleaned burner compartment • Cleaned flame sensor • Cleaned filter door • Replace filter 2(16x20x1) • Verified no gas or CO leaks • Blower amps 6.7 • Inducer motor amps (na) • Blower capacitor MFD (na) • Cleared pressure switch hose (na) Found very old furnace on its last leg with bearings going out on blower and vibrating entire wall. Thermocouple is failing. Due to age and inefficiency of unit and considering it past it’s life expectancy it’s not worth putting any money into. Any questions please call Brandon 602-736-3077 (refer to estimate)

No heat upon arrival Customer says he couldn’t get thermostat to respond. I checked thermostat and found it set for 72 but inside was 66 with not furnace on. Went down and checked furnace and it was off and not giving any error codes. Furnace was not receiving a call for heat. Checked back at thermostat and even though temperature was set higher it was sending a call for heat to the furnace, heating icon was not showing on thermostat. I removed thermostat from the wall and kept it off for 30 seconds to reset it. After resetting thermostat I turned the furnace on and it clicked on right away as it should. Cycled furnace multiple times and it came on and shutoff every time as it should. Customer asked me to help reset his winter schedule on the thermostat as well. Furnace ran with no issues after thermostat was reset. Customer said this is the first time he has had an issue with it, told customer that of issues occurred again that we would warranty out the thermostat for him and p

FIREPLACE DIAGNOSTIC: The unit is not working off the remote due to the remote’ a batteries failing. On top of the failed batteries I found that the “on, off, tstat” switch was in the off position. The switch needs to remain in the “tstat” setting for the remote to be engaged to the system. She is also going to sign the unit up today on a service club membership as well. I will drop the diagnostic fee to $60 being that she’s signing and we will contact her for the first visit.

Pellet stove diagnostic. Arrive and homeowner states the stove will feed but not ignite under its own power. Findings: The stoves ignitor has opened. The ignitor is no longer working. A replacement ignitor is needed to get the stove to light under its own power. I have verified that the board is sending 110V to the ignitor. I have verified an open circuit through the ignitor with a continuity test. Collect for pellet stove diagnostic today I will be in contact with the homeowner for the price of a replacement ignitor as soon as we get a price from the supplier. Please note the stove is 13 years old and parts may be hard to come by. The installed ignitor will come with a 1 year warranty on the operation.

Furnace Maintenance: Checked operation of thermostat. Washed EAC filters and cell. Checked for gas and co leaks. Cleaned furnace housing, blower and burner compartments. Pulled and polished flame sensor. Cleared pressure ports and tubing. Hot surface igniter starting to fail with white spots and burnt off silicone???? Checked amp draws on blower motor and inducer motor. Found that the inducer is really noisy but within amp draw range. Checked capacitor R:10 A:9.1 mfd. static total .8" w.c. Which is really high and needs to be taken care of when replacing equipment. Combustion check 10.2% oxygen and 34 ppm which is low but due to restrictive duct work it’s actually ok. Temp rise was 48 degrees. Took temp split throughout home. Replaced failing 10 mfd capacitor and also replaced failing hot surface igniter. Recommended service club membership for the AC. Stella needs to talk to Josh!
