I gave an estimate to install a Carrier 80% 70,000 BTU Gas Furnace and a Carrier 13 SEER 2 Ton Air Conditioner. I included in the estimate is a 1 year free service maintenance agreement.
I completed a diagnostic on an Armstrong AC unit. I found the filter plugged and the contactor is extremely burnt and pitted. The unit was also extremely low on coolant. The customer would like to hold of to make a decision and would let us know. The system is operational at this time.
I completed a diagnostic on a Goodman system. I found the damper motor for downstairs is bad, so I disconnected the motor and forced it open while the customer decides on what he wants to do.
I installed a Five Star 96% Communicating 2 Stage Variable Speed 60,000 BTU Gas Furnace 3.5T 17, a Five Star 19 SEER 3 Ton Variable Speed Air Conditioner, and an Aprilaire High Efficiency 4 Air Cleaner2210. I added a Surge Protector, and a Surge Protector. I cycled and monitored the systems and protectors. Everything is operational at this time.

I performed a diagnostic on a Bryant air conditioner. I found that the system has a leak so I added 2 lbs of R-22. The system was cooling as intended when I left.
I went to the customer's home to perform a diagnostic on a Goodman air conditioner. The customer decided to just replace the unit instead.
Upon arrival I replaced the Blower Motor; the system is operational upon departure.
I completed a Full Install of a Five Star Electric Furnace (Up to 100,000 BTU) Honeywell T10 Programmable Thermostat; Five Star 14 SEER Heat Pump (Up to 3 ton) The system is operational upon departure.
I provided an estimate on installing a Five Star Multi-Speed 2.5 Ton Electric Furnace / Fan, and a Five Star 14 SEER 2.5 Ton Heat Pump.
I returned to the customer's home to diagnose a Carrier 16 SEER 3 Ton Air Conditioner. I found that the unit was extremely low on coolant so I added 5 lbs.
I performed a diagnostic on a Goodman heat pump. I found that the condenser fan motor and capacitor were bad and needed replaced. I quoted the repair cost vs replacement of the unit. The customer will let me know how to proceed.
I performed a diagnostic on an Armstrong gas furnace. I found that the 3 way pilot system was not sending a signal back to the valve that pilot had lit. I pulled and cleaned the pilot tubing and assembly but unit still wouldn't light. I quoted the cost to repair the gas valve and pilot assembly but customer decided to replace the whole Hvac system.
I performed a tune up and safety check on a TRANE air conditioner. I found that the return air filter was dirty and needed replaced. No other issues were found and the system was fully operational when I left.
