I had Mason Heating & Air scheduled for A/C tune-up service. Our unit is old, operational but was having noise when the fan kicks in. Technician Mike was able to narrow down the issue and identified condenser motor and fan need to be replaced. Mike arranged procuring the parts quickly working with the back office and get it fixed as soon as the parts arrived. Thank you Mike, I will highly recommend

I completed a diagnostic on a Byrant heating and cooling system. The thermostat was wired correctly, but the wires were smashed together between the wall and back plate for thermostat. I connected the common wire and re-wired the thermostat. I cycled the systems and is working properly at this time. Advised the customer if this happens again, the thermostat is most likely bad.
I gave an estimate to install a Carrier 80% 90,000 BTU Gas Furnace and a Carrier 13 SEER 3 Ton Air Conditioner. I included in the estimate is a 1 year free service maintenance agreement.

I completed a diagnostic on a Lennox AC unit. I found the condenser has a drier vent directly behind it, which caused the coil is be COMPLETELY clogged on all sides. I washed the coil. From what I see the system is running ok now, but if I were to guess, I'm thinking the blower motor went out which caused unit to freeze. The customer will wait for the unit to fail.

I completed the spring tune up on a Carrier 13 SEER 3.5 Ton Air Conditioner. I visually inspected the furnace. Checked voltage and amps. I inspected the evaporator coil. I checked the temperature difference across the coil. Checked refrigerant charge, voltages and amps. I rinsed the condenser coils with water. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time.
I completed a diagnostic on a Westinghouse AC unit. The customer already had coolant added and was told there was a leak. I gave the customer options. The customer will let us know.
I completed a diagnostic on a Goodman AC unit. I found the evaporator coil was clogged and the dual cap had failed. I washed the condenser and cut and cleared the drain line due to it being clogged. Either the TXV is flooding the coil or not enough air is going through the coil. The customer will let us know what they decide to do.
I completed a diagnostic on a heat pump. I found the contactor is pitted and the capacitor was bad. The customer decided to opt out for a new unit.
I completed a diagnostic on a Lennox AC unit. I found the AC not coming on due to the disconnect flipped upside down. I also found the suction line covered in oil right around valve. This was due to a failed Schrader core, so I replaced the Schrader core. I checked the charge and found the unit running 27psig suction and dropping. I gave the customer options.
I installed a Five Star 96% 2 Stage Variable Speed 80,000 BTU Gas Furnace 5T 21" and a Carrier 16 SEER 3.5 Ton Air Conditioner. I cycled and monitored the systems and they are both operational at this time.
