One of our units suddenly died. We'd had two companies give estimates before Steven came. He thoroughly explained everything and was able to give us a higher SEER at a better price. He even lent us a window unit for our bedroom until the new heat pump was installed. When our second one goes we'll be back with 5 Star for a replacement.

No cooling. Found unit low on refrigerant and frosting lines. Recommend replacement due to age of unit and cost of repairs and refrigerant.
No cooling from an AC unit. Thermostat is blank. Replacing a condensate pump for an air conditioner. Thermostat lost power as a result of the safety float switch in the old pump tripping. Replumbing the condensation drain to the condensate pump for easy maintenance, better drainage, and better insulation to prevent condensation outside of the drain line.

Lower your power bill! This house had very leaky ductwork that wasrelatively new but we were able to aeroseal it to less than 1% leakage. We also made some duct adjustments and added unit-mounted MERV 11 whole house filters. The result is a less restricted HVAC system that runs less often and more efficiently.
