Unit low on refrigerant and indoor coil freezing up. Performed leak test and found indoor coil leaking. Advised homeowner and she wants to proceed with replacing indoor coil. And she became a member. Estimate done and signed job completed
2011 Ruud split hp upstairs and 2021 Goodman package gas pack downstairs systems maintenance. add 2lbs 410a upstairs unit To get pressures up to factory specifications. homeowner previously had an estimate to replace upstairs unit.
Preformed a winter maintenance on a 3 Ton Ruud heat pump. Indoor unit: I checked amps on blower motor and heat strips, I checked coils, I checked drain pan and drain line, I checked both float switches, I checked I checked for rubbed wires, I checked for bacteria, I noticed a light amount of bacteria on the wires and the door panel, I wiped everything down. Outdoor unit: I checked amps on compressor and fan motor, I checked capacitor, I checked around the contactors and the board, I looked into the unit for rubbed wires, I vacuumed the drain line and washed the unit down with water.
Performed Maintance on 2- 2016 Goodman heat pump systems. Checked all voltage amperage and capacitors for both units all are good at this time. Checked pan float switch for upstairs air handler safety is working normal. Ultraviolet light is good, replaced pan strip. Evaporator coil and condenser coil both look good, cleared drain line. Checked downstairs air handler found ultraviolet light burnt out replaced with new one, no charge to customer it was under a year since installation. Replaced pan strip, checked condensate pump it is working normal at this time, cleared drain line. Evaporator coil and condenser coil both look good at this time.
Performed routine maintenance on a Ruud package unit Checked filter, checked thermostat, checked elements and blower amps, checked the evaporator coil, checked drain pan and blew out the drain line, checked/tightened electrical connections, checked capacitor, checked fan and compressor amps, checked pressures and reversing valve, cleaned condenser coil.
Warranty call. No air getting to back bedroom. Checked ductwork and found multiple areas of collapsed trunk line. This is cutting off air to affected bedroom. Filled out a concern form to turn over to office. Crawl space is very tight. Concern form filled out. See pictures
Thermostat was in the wrong setting and was set to emergency heat. Went throughout system in heat and everything ran fine
Performed routine maintenance on a Goodman system Found that the clients UV light was out and needs to be replaced. Return for service form filled out
2021 Goodman gas package unit Customer gas tank empty gas company arrived while I was here after he filled the tank I reset the system unit is working properly. Homeowner stated upstairs unit struggling to keep up in heat and it’s freezing up in the summer. 2011 Ruud split heat pump 2 1/2 ton. Pressures are low indicating possible leak,also system warranty has expired. recommend replacing versus repair. jack is scheduled to come out to price new system 2/1/22 at 11:00 am
Callback on Ruud system. System is working properly. Checked pressures and amps. Found almost all of the downstairs registers. Completely closed or blocked by furniture. Opened supply vents. Checked supply temps. Unit is working properly at this time
Performed maintenance on a 2013 Goodman gas pack outdoor system. Checked all voltage amperage in both capacitors, found capacitor to indoor blower motor to be very weak. Check warranty customer has the 10/10/10 warranty on this unit. I installed a 10/440 single capacitor. Evaporator coil is starting to show signs of corrosion but running normal at this time. Condenser coil looks good at this time. Gas burner looks good and running normal at this time.
2018 Ruud package Warranty call. Checked system and found coil frozen. System failed to go into defrost. Found defrost sensors to be bad. Replaced defrost sensors. Started and checked system. Tested defrost. System is thawed and working at this time.
2012 Ruud system faulty defrost board needs to be replaced
