2019 Ruud system maintenance 10/10/10 customer
Performed prepaid maintenance on a 2004 Goodman heat pump split system. On the indoor unit found the evaporator coil in really bad shape due to heavy corrosion also the capacitor on the blower motor is causing it to run higher amps. The outdoor unit has a rotting accumulator and the compressor is over amping .Customer is asked to speak to a comfort adviser about possible replacement office is calling to set up the appointment.
2018 Ruud No heat. Checked system and determined blower motor to be bad and in need of replacement. Gave estimate and got approval for repair. Replaced motor and started system. Checked pressures. Checked motor and compressor amps. Unit is working properly at this time.
2015 Goodman system braise repair leak on true suction at condenser charge system 7 pounds 410A
Replaced warranty evaporator coil.
2015 system is determined to have a leaking evaporator coil in need of warranty replacement.
2004 Goodman Fujitsu mini split Checked pressures. Checked voltage and connections throughout. Checked amp draw on compressor and fan motors. Cleaned coils. Changed customer provided filters. Cleared drain lines. Units are working properly at this time. Replaced weak 30/5 capacitor on Goodman system. This is a R22 system. Evap coil is rusted. Unit has good pressures and is cooling properly. Customer signed up for Silver Cool Club
2018 system is currently in good working order. Adjusted air pressure and reset bypass.
2019 Ruud system maintenance
Replaced reversal valve solenoid and unit responded very well, no further issues are suspected or presently detected.
Customer is experiencing a slow shift of the reversal valve causing unwanted noise. The noise is indeed abnormal, and indicates a problem with the reversal valve. The reversal valve coil should be replaced as a first course of action. Solenoid Coils often become weak, causing this issue.

Replaced blown capacitor, cooled overheated compressor, and restarted system with no further issues detected at this time.
Warranty call. Found outdoor unit not running. Board was flashing a code of temperature sensor lockout. Cut power to board and restarted system. Checked air handler in attic also. System is operating but I changed the sensor wire on the heat pump in case it has an intermittent fault. Cycled system and educated clients on heat pump system and thermostat operations.
Checked/changed filters, checked thermostats, checked heating elements and blower amps, checked evap coil, checked drain pan and line, checked capacitor, checked fan and compressor amps, checked pressures, cleaned condenser coils. Installed UV light. 1 system: 2018
