When you install a brand new HVAC system, you don’t expect to have to call for service 7 days later, but that was the case. BG had nothing to do with the installation, but he identified and corrected 3 significant issues with the system that prevented it from heating our home. He explained what he checked, told me what he had to adjust or fix and last night (while not as cold) the system kept the house at the expected temperatures. Thank you BG!

2012 Goodman 2012 Goodman 2016 Goodman Checked pressures. Checked voltage and connections throughout. Checked a,p draw on compressors and fan motors. Checked capacitors. Checked safety switches. Cleared drains. 2012 Goodman on the right side of home is low on refrigerant. Due to the age of the system, efficiency and no warranty replacement is recommended. Customer is getting a quote from Robert.
Performed routine maintenance. Cleaned indoor coil and found indoor cabinet rusting away on the bottom due to a leak (cabinet is pitched) from installation (not us) and bottom is corroding. Homeowner will look into new unit in future. Outdoor was low on refrigerant so 2lbs was added at customers expense. Job completed

2011 Ruud package HP system maintenance System was locked out on low pressure due to a limb wrapped around the condenser fan blade removed limbs and cleaned up unit. system is working at this time but is showing advanced wear and deteriorating due to age.
2012 Ruud 2020 Lennox systems maintenance
Preformed a maintenance on a Ruud unit. Indoor unit: I checked amps on the blower motor, I checked the capacitor, I checked the float switch, I checked the coils, I checked the drain pan and drain line, I checked the electrical wires and connections, I checked the heating element. Outdoor unit: I checked amps on the compressor and fan motor, I checked around the contactors and the board, I checked the capacitor, I looked into the unit for rubbed wires and rust, I vacuumed the drain line and I vacuumed the bottom of the unit, I checked behind the disconnect, I washed the unit down with water, the only thing I noticed was that the disconnect and the unit had a light amount of spider webs, for the indoor unit I noticed the coil, had a light/medium amount of rust.

Capacitor Preformed a maintenance on a 2016 Trane unit. Indoor unit: I checked amps on the blower motor and induction motor, I checked the capacitor, I checked the electrical wires and connections, I checked the float switch, I checked the drain pans and drain line, I checked the flame quality. Outdoor unit: I checked amps on the compressor and fan motor, I checked the capacitor, the capacitor is a 35/5uf, I was reading 31.40/4.6, I replaced the capacitor, I checked around the contactors and the board, I looked into the unit for rubbed wires and rust, I vacuumed the drain line, I washed the unit down with water.
Preformed a maintenance on 2 Ruud heat pumps. Outdoor units: I checked amps on the compressors and fan motors, I checked the capacitors, I checked around the contactors and the boards, I looked into each unit for rubbed wires and rust, I cleaned out the bottom of the units, I vacuumed the drain lines, I washed the units down with water. Indoor units: I checked amps on the blower motors, I checked the float switches, I checked the electrical wires and connections, I checked the drain pans and drain lines, I checked the coils, I checked the supply and return lines, I cleaned the units down with cleaner.
Install s lock Too stiff in the cabinet up so when the blower motor came on the cabinet did not make a popping noise from the metal moving
Preformed a winter maintenance on a mini split system. I arrived at the job and started at the outdoor unit, I started by vacuuming the unit down, I the checked the electrical wires and connections, I checked the amps on the compressor, I cleaned the coils, I checked behind the disconnect, I then went to the indoor unit and checked the filters, I took them outside to clean them, I vacuumed out the filters and the indoor unit, I went back outside vacuumed the drain line and put the unit back together, I finished by washing the unit down with water.
