Customer has been having electrical issues lately. This may be due in large or in part to The high-voltage wiring in the outdoor unit. The home really needs to be inspected by an electrician, as well as the package unit wiring. 10K W heat strips are being fed by number 10 wire. Added 2 pounds of refrigerant in order to correct refrigerant charge.

2005 system was determined to have a faulty bearing inside of the blower motor. The motor would need to be replaced in order to correct this issue. Zone system has been disconnected due to damper motor failure, the other damper is rusted open at this point. These damper motors have been discontinued, and no replacement is available, entire dampers will need to be replaced. The zone control board has been replaced with an Eco-Jay recently and is in near new condition. The bypass damper is also in good working order. Supply air temperature on zone board struggled to reach 90°, this indicates a leak in the system, which was confirmed after checking refrigerant pressure. This refrigerant has been phased out, and repair of the equipment is not advised. System is ready to be replaced due to age, condition, and necessary repairs.
