Marcio is phenomenal! So many residents in my condo spoke highly of him and they are all correct. He was timely, kind, efficient and so polite. A-Team owes him so much. Had I not heard so much positivity about Marcio I would have gone with a competitor. I have no regrets and I highly recommend!
Great courteous professional and knowledgeable. Owned by a person which if had a problem only one call for resolution. However perfection on all including price beat competitors
Great service as always and also helpfully spotted an issue with my water heater that helped me avoid a big, wet mess. Outstanding!
Carl was great. He called to let me know he was 30 minutes bout. Came in did the checkup
It is obvious that Marcio is experienced and knows what he is doing. He installed a new HVAC system for us he did a great job. They even cleaned up when they left, can’t tell they were here Thank you, Brenda @ Vanderbilt
My technician Marcio was fantastic. He replaced my entire hvac unit quickly and was very polite. I use A-team for my semiannual service as well and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended!
Performed a multi-point AC inspection, checking electrical connections, refrigerant pressure, thermostat operation, and coil cleanliness. System is 8 years old but still operating efficiently. Advised client on possible replacement timeframe in next 3–5 years.
Responded to an emergency no-cool call. Found the indoor air handler running but the outdoor unit was dead. Diagnosed a failed contactor. Replaced the contactor and the system is back online and cooling.
Replaced a damaged thermostat with a programmable smart model, ensuring compatibility with existing HVAC wiring. Guided the homeowner through setup and helped them optimize settings for better cooling efficiency this summer.
Customer complained of inconsistent temperatures across rooms. Found airflow imbalance and adjusted dampers in the duct system. Also performed a standard AC tune-up and cleaned the return grill of built-up dust.
Diagnosed a short-cycling AC system. Found the low-pressure switch was tripping due to a partially clogged metering device. Cleaned the restriction, topped off refrigerant, and confirmed proper cycle duration.
Performed a complete system diagnostic on a customer’s central AC. The unit was running continuously. Found the evaporator coil frozen due to poor airflow caused by a dirty blower wheel. Cleaned and balanced the system.
Serviced a dual-zone cooling system in a two-story home. Recalibrated zone dampers, checked both thermostats, and performed maintenance on each air handler. Noted the upstairs unit was slightly low on refrigerant—topped off for proper cooling.
Installed a new HVAC cooling system for a home undergoing renovation. Upgraded ductwork for improved efficiency and sealed all joints. Homeowner will benefit from quieter operation and lower energy bills with the new setup.
Discovered a burnt wire at the compressor terminal while troubleshooting a system that wouldn’t start. Repaired the connection, installed a hard-start kit, and restarted the unit. Compressor is now functioning normally.
Performed routine heat pump maintenance on a 3-ton system. The air filter was clean, and an additional filter was provided to the customer. During the inspection, we found the system low on R-410A refrigerant, which is affecting both heating and cooling performance. This is a recurring issue that a previous company attempted to repair. Due to ongoing refrigerant loss and system inefficiency, we recommend replacing the unit to ensure reliable operation and long-term efficiency.
I was called to a home to perform maintenance on a Trane 3 1/2 ton heat pump. The customer reported that the system was not heating properly. I checked the amps, changed the filter, checked the refrigerant pressures, and found that the system was low on refrigerant. I added more refrigerant and the system was heating properly again.
A homeowner noticed some rooms were hotter than others. After inspecting the system, we found leaky air ducts reducing airflow. Sealing the ducts improved comfort and efficiency. If your HVAC system isn’t distributing air evenly, duct issues could be the culprit.
I installed a complete furnace system, including a supply air (S/A) box and a return air (R/A) box, ensuring proper airflow and efficiency. A drain pan with a float switch was added to prevent water damage, wired to the control board for automatic shutoff. I also installed an in-line condensate safety switch for additional overflow protection.
