Performed routine heat pump maintenance on a 3-ton system. The air filter was clean, and an additional filter was provided to the customer. During the inspection, we found the system low on R-410A refrigerant, which is affecting both heating and cooling performance. This is a recurring issue that a previous company attempted to repair. Due to ongoing refrigerant loss and system inefficiency, we recommend replacing the unit to ensure reliable operation and long-term efficiency.
