Joel did an awesome job. He checked everything and paid attention to the smallest detail. He’s my guy from now on.
I was referred by a close friend. I was willing to pay a bit more based on their recommendation. The install was delayed for 3 days for the parts to come in, but post installation I was told the post install crew would need to install parts they did not have on the install day. This was disappointing. Post install crew came by and informed me the install was not correct and I would need to schedule another install crew to correct the install, then have a post install crew come back out post the correction. I should share that this was not the lowest quote I received when researching. I was told in my assessment/estimate that AC Pros would not the cheapest, but their professional standards and support were worth the investment. Every employee I have dealt with has been pleasant, but I have not seen enough to feel comfortable or come anywhere close to being able to recommend AC Pros. Honestly, I feel I paid premium pricing for sub-standard results. Again, the people I have met have been pleasant, but the work could have and should have been better.
Completed heat pump inspection, heat strips, defrost board and refrigerant levels are good. Temperature rise in range, system is 8 months and no problems were found.
Ac performance x1. Client changes their own filter. Inspect blower, if I operator and ductwork. Clear primary drain line. Check outdoor unit. Refrigerant level good at this time. Check capacitor and contactor. Test thermostat for proper operation. System operating at manufacture specs at this time.
Perform 1 system maintenance checked pressures split tested capacitor filter is dirty customer didn’t have any recommend replacing filter size 20x20x4 other than that system cooling properly at this moment
Arrived checked pressures and split system cooling properly the only thing I found was p trap dirty and I clean it emergency pan had water probably kicked float switch it is really rusted recommend replacing so ceeling damage won’t happen and drain lines need to be strapped up customer wants price on new pan and drain lines strapped up. Pan is for heat pump pics are on service titan system cooling properly at this moment no charge since we were were just here for service call
No cool heat pump system. Arrive to find 70+5 µF run capacitor dead. Replaced with turbo 200 X. System came on and cooling properly at this time. Kelly is going to try to get landlord pay. If not he will pay for it Monday.
No cool. Found condenser not running where thermostat was set to cool. 87° upon arrival. Went to outdoor unit compressor and fan off on internal overload used water hose to cool down compressor and motor. Run capacitor rated at 55+5 was dead. Installed New turbo 200 run capacitor. Part has five year warranty. .Turn the unit back on and checked charge. Added 4 pounds of our 22. Checked amp draw on motor and fan. Compressor pulling 14 A, fan pulling 1.2 A. Turned on other system just to verify that it is operating properly. Both systems are cooling at this time.
AC not keeping up. Condenser coil was partially blocked with dirt. Used water to rinse off. Checked in attic and found that filter door had half inch gap all the way down letting attic air into the condition space. Put tape on to cover up gap and temperature dropped came down to 19°. System is cooling properly at this time. No charge since Jeff was just here last week.
Completed maintenance check, washed condenser coils, cleared drains, run capacitor is in range. Compressor and fan motor amps were good. Refrigerant levels were range as well. Recommended surge protectors, she will think about it. Also customer purchased a Gold membership agreement.
A/C maintenance check out is done. Washed condenser coils, flushed drains, run capacitor are good, refrigerant levels and temperature split is in range.
Found heat strips are bad. Estimate to replace is included along with air handler.
System working properly in heat mode at this time. Capacitor is below manufacturers specs and I would recommend replacing with turbo 200. Ducts are original and I would recommend a duct cleaning.
Walked customer thru his airflow and took Temps from all the registers. Due to ductwork layout and lack of dividers hell.have to play around with his registers to get the static pressure just right. High temp was 115 and low was 95 so he has enough heat, just needs to distribute it. Can confirm firm heat is running at this time.
Replaced Txv inside of heatpump and cycled heat and cooling. System operating per manufacturer specs in both heat and cooling at this time.
Fixed the reversing valve b6t diagnosed a bad txv in the conr0denser. Need to order part.
Condenser was in hard lockout. Cycled power and system came on. Working properly in AC mode, but when switching between heat and cool, LSOV is getting stuck creating a low suction pressure. Will come back on Monday to fix.
