Estimate for 18,000 BTU mini split Also mini split plus electrical
No cool call, found one of the 2 disconnects off, homeowner not sure how got shut off, doimg alot of construction before they move in, turned disconnect on, blowing 56 degree air, warranty guy mentioned gas leak, found a small one, coming back tomorrow to fix.
Customer called and said that their thermostat keeps recycling. I arrived and went to the attic and blew out the drain. Float switches are on the secondary which is why it triggered so easy. Labor warranty
Completed with ac 1 on a 2020 trane heat pump horizontal in attic 2.5 ton under parts warranty. Unit collibg properly at this time of check up. Fund weak dual run capacitor. Recommended replacing it. Customer approved replacing it under parts warranty.
Complted with estime to replace a 3 ton complete gas horizontal in attic. left estimates to replace it or repair it. Customer not ready to do anything at this time.
Downstairs thermostat was going blank. Verified the primary drain was clogged. Closed both vault ball valves and use nitrogen to clear. The sink where they terminate is partially clogged as well. Clients had Drano that I used to help unclog that. I advised the client to continue to use the Drano To help the sink basin drain better. No charge today.
Found burnt wire in the junction box. Stripped and put new wire nut on
Customer called because the low voltage wire at the outdoor unit was outside of the conduit. I pushed the liquid seal tight up more into the eve of the attic and the customer is happy
Customer complained of system not cooling well. I cycled the power to the unit, came outside and noticed that the fan was running but the conpressor wasn’t. I checked MFD on capacitor and got nothing when I jumped Common to Herm. Bad capacitor. Installed a Turbo 200X and now system is cooling properly.
AC2 maintenance Indoor unit: Checked blower motor, checked coils, checked filter, checked ductwork, checked attic Insulation and ventilation, Cleared condensation line, checked all electrical connections and wires. Outdoor units: Cleaned outdoor coils, checked, capacitors, checked, contactors, checked Fan motors, checked compressors, checked pressures/Sub cooling and superheat, Checked all electrical connections and wires. Recommendations: Replace contactor on 5 Ton unit, replace TXV on one and a half ton unit, add safety float switches to both units primary lines.
Came out for cooling maintenance for two systems. Both systems are cooling efficiently with no issues. The drainline is clogged for both systems. I cleared the drainline it's draining with no issues.
Came out for estimate for repairs, disconnects doesn't have to be relocated since it passed city inspection, wire is well connected and I didn't detect any gas leaking or carbon monoxide at this time. Both unit heating and cooling properly at this time.
Completed with no cool on a 2009 carrier gas horizontal in attic 4 ton, Found bad dual run capacitor, after installing a new capacitor fan motor barely came on with compressor pulling very high amps and noticed refrigerant stains on evaporator coil. Giving customer the option to do all preventative repairs, minimum repairs or complete unit upgrade. Customer will think about replacing unit but for now he only wants to do capacitor. Replaced capacitor and advised customer that unit might stop since compressor and fan motor are showing sings of failure.
Came out for drainline issue. Line was clogged but customer cleared before I got here.
