2020 Trane gas furnace maintenance, cleared pressure tube, blower amps are good, inducer amps are good, changed filter, flame sensor and HSI are working but due to age recommend changing for preventative maintenance, halo uv bulb is almost 5 years old, gonna need replacing most likely. Spoke with homeowner gonna reach out to him.

Completed with heat 1 on a 2016 trane gas horizontal in attic under parts warranty, unit heating properly at this time of check up. Found flame sensor very dark and burn which is recommended replacing it . Also thermostat is off a few degrees so it will need to be replace very soon. Customer will try to replace it themselves. Customer approved to replace flame sensor under parts warranty.

Customer needed vents and dampers adjusted to get better airflow to bedrooms. Also washed off outdoor coil while I was here. Checked filter, filter should be changed within the next month or so. Confirmed with homeowner and her daughter that the airflow to the bedrooms were sufficient.

Completed with duct cleaning estimate. Single story home with 21 runs. Duct and inside unit are very dusty. Driver is about 4 feet long outside wall. Recommending doing duct cleaning level 2. Customer is not ready to do anything at this time.

A new supply, Plenum, and adding a return Plenum With an additional return cut in and a new 20 x 25 x 4 filter rack. Will need to add at least a 14 inch return cut into door above utility room

Dispatch for a no heat. Upon arrival I spoke with Kathy, and listen to her concerns about lack of airflow. I documented with pictures in the attic. The system is starving for air to put out. I am recommending a new supply, Plenum, and adding a return Plenum With an additional return cut in and a new 20 x 25 x 4 filter rack. Since this is an estimate only there is no charge today. Will need to add at least a 14 inch return cut into door above utility room. Work to be completed next Thursday at 8 to 9 am
