As a new customer, I called early this morning. I was kindly told that someone would come, but not until afternoon. As promised, Eric called and arrived in time for a rainstorm. Eric went out in the rain, promptly recognized the problem and gave a solution. Within less two hours, the house already is on its way to normal.

I arrived and found one of the bottom panels was rattling. I tighten the bottom panel and added another self tapping screw. The condenser isn’t rattling anymore and it’s much quieter. The customer’s are very happy.

I returned and found the humidistat was turned to 60. The humidistat is over riding the thermostat and turning the thermostat off. I spoke with the customer and he is upset due to the fact that the salesman who sold him this system stated it would run perfectly with the new stat. The customer stated his power bill was $250 and he was up north with nobody in the house. He keeps the house at 80 degrees when he is out of state. I told the customer to call us back when he comes back down and we will come out and do a maintenance and correct the problem with the wiring.That way he is here and can observe if it’s operating properly. Worse case we have to replace with a thermostat on a warranty that lets the user control humidity . He will call next month when he returns to Florida.
Ac warranty service call. The technician found the breaker had tripped on the heater and popped the low voltage 3 amp fuse. The tech reset the breaker and replaced the 3 amp fuse. The system is cooling properly.
Ac maintenance performed. 1 of 2 friends and family maintenance. The ac is operating within manufacturers specs. However the start capacitor is under manufacturers specs. I recommend replacement of the capacitor and adding a surge protector to eliminate this from happening again in the future.
The technician came out on Sunday for a service call. The tech found a bad run capacitor and a faulty thermostat. The thermostat and capacitor was replaced and the system is cooling properly.
Air conditioning maintenance performed and units are operating better now, customer is happy!
Ac warranty. The technician found a faulty condenser fan motor. We will return in the next few business days to replace the motor.
Customer says she is selling the house. Doesn’t want to renew maintenance and doesn’t want quote new system.
