Every aspect of our experience with Access Heat and Air was great. Derrick and Roland on the dispatch end were courteous and prompt in setting up an appointment time. I especially appreciate them keeping us posted on the arrival time of the service people. Both Jeffrey and James did a fantastic job of explaining the fireplace issues and what they did to take care of it. Everyone involved was professional and thorough and we are very pleased.
They cone when you need them
I called Access as the new controller board that had been installed was slow to heat the house. They worked with me on scheduling and sent the same technician out as he was familiar with the system. He adjusted the temperature at no charge.

Always in need of either a new furnace or costly repairs when I use them. Even after I had them replace my old one, now its in need of costly repairs.
Completed fall maintenance on the water source heat pump. Adjusted control board settings to engage fan earlier while heat pump is running. Noticed blower wheel is becoming dirty and compressor capacitor is weak. Recommend cleaning blower wheel and replacing run capacitor to prevent damage to the unit. Customer would like estimate to convert propane line to natural gas from house to the shop, and to add a gas heater in the shop. -photos attached to job.
Completed furnace demand. Found clogged evap coil tripping sensor. Also heat exchanger showing ware. Informed customer and she decided to have evap coil cleaned. Completed cleaning informed customer with doors shut it may still trip sensor. Only solution is to replace coil.
Spent time on tech support to diagnose issues, nothing known at this point. Will need to continue to monitor until further errors show up. Changed settings in thermostat from commercial to residential per tech support.
Checked all settings in the fireplace. Flame setting was on maximum, adjusted to minimum to avoid thermostat staying on too long. Ran system for over 30 minutes to replicate full heat cycle. System is running properly. Explained flame settings and operation to customer.
Called out due to furnace not turning on. Noticed no line voltage to the furnace. Customer had been completing add on, and knew of a junction box for the furnace power. He tightened connections, and power was restored to the furnace. Noticed very low gas pressure (1.8â€wc), raisesd to 3.4â€ and verified 47 degree temperature rise. Furnace is operating properly at this time.
Completed furnace service. Tested all mechanical and powered systems. Measured heating and gas fed applications. Changed air filter. Found failing flame sensor and blower wheel could use a cleaning. Informed customer and she decided to have flame sensor cleaned and hold off on blower for now.
Replaced gas valve and pressure temperature relief valve on water heater under manufacturer warranty. Customer is providing parts from manufacture. Installed new expansion tank system on water heater. Started up water heater checked for leaks all his free and operating properly.

Customer tried to finance new furnace due to age and condition. Since it didnâ€™t go through and 18 months no payments wasnâ€™t available he decided to do repair. Told him the office would contact him tomorrow to let him know when the work would be completed. Payment would be taken then for repairs.
Inspected system and found several issues with furnace and safety, reveiwed with customers. Completing repairs paying via Greensky when parts come in. Plan number in the notes. System is 19 years old, average life is 10-15 years. Recommend repalckng the system
Called out to look at RTU 8, heating intermittently. Diagnosed failing gas valve and ignition system. Also noticed dirty blower wheel. Recommend replacing gas valve and ignition system to ensure consistent heating, and cleaning blower wheel to prevent damage to the motor.

Completed furnace maintenance, noticed that the unit is 26 years old, and in poor condition. The blower wheel and evaporator coil are very dirty, the blower motor is leaking oil, and the blower run capacitor is weak. The control board is burned, and the inducer motor is running with a high amp draw. The gas line has no drip trap, which has allowed sediment through, causing a slight leak in the gas valve. The flame sensor is very dirty, and the heat exchanger has loathe cracks on each chamber. Stongly recommend system replacement due to the age and high probability of future repairs.
