Air filter was blocked all the way, extremely restricted. Cleaned all components and reset operation. Tested ac- is running properly now. Explained benefits of leaving fan set to on vs. set to auto on thermostat. Filters need to be cleaned every 3 months. Also recommended removing the portable window units as they are allowing excessive dust to come in the house.
Diagnosed ac. Found electrical fault in outdoor fan motor. Indoor disconnect electrical panel is also failing, extensive corrosion and overheating. Wants to chat with the building owner and see who is responsible for the repair. Nothing fixed today. Will leave alone for now. System is 14 years old and average life is 10-15 years. Probability of future repairs are high due to its current age. System is out of warranty.
