James has had to come out a few times for our older AC and furnace. Every experience that I have had with him he has been helpful and understanding. He walks us through some of the fixes we can do ourself to help save us money. I love that Access gives you options and any add ons they will explain why they suggest them but there is no pressure. Even with my night schedule they have worked to come out early or late for me and I am able to trust them to do their work in a timely matter and know that they will tidy up and close everything up when they leave. Been very impressed with the amount of pride they take in great service!

James offered great customer service, was professional, and polite. I know James doesn't have anything to do with the pricing so this doesn't reflect on him. I was charged $262.00 for a capacitor that I bought off Amazon for $4.20, same thing exactly. The $262.00 was on top of the $100.00 Service Call charge and $52.00 charge for taking 3 Volt Meter Readings. I understand overhead costs: vehicles, insurance, wages, benefits, inventories and wanting to retain quality people. But the $262.00 for the exact same thing I bought off Amazon as a back for $4.20 is a little hard to take. The quality of the work and response time to the job itself was stellar.

FILTER SIZE 14x25x1 AWO VISIT: Replacement of control board and test Furnace is running great at this time. Found the system in lock out on the fan run failing for a rollout limit and tested the limit and restarted the system and the furnace controls failed for the high limit switch. Found the control board is bad. Set up for replacement of the board for next day at 5pm or after.

Ac maintenance and service, system is running properly. Cleaned air scrubber and filters. Ready for summer operation. Installed new surge protection.
Perform for start up and maintenance on air conditioner, all is working good. Replaced media filter.
Completed furnace maintenance. Noticed dirty evaporator coil and blower wheel as well as vent pipe rusting from the inside out. Also noticed that igniter is weak. Recommend replacement before heating failure. Discussed options with customer and due to age of the system, recommended system upgrade. The average lifespan is 10-15 years, and this system is right about 10.

Furnace inspection complete found to be operating ok at this time. Issues found with system 1. Furnace venting rusting out needs replaced with proper up to code “B†Venting. 2. Replacement of water heater expansion tank needed. 3. Replacement of igniter for furnace needed soon “Still working at this time†4. Blower cleaning 5. Duct cleaning 6. Minor duct repair per inspector “re-strap†7. Evaporator cleaning Inspected ducting in crawlspace going to master bath it is up to code and operating perfectly fine
Heating system diagnosed and found fault in the igniter. Also, system is extremely dirty, restricted airflow. System is overheating due to restricted blower motor and wheel. Showed customer extent of dust and debris in system. Installed new igniter and system is now running. Furnace needs additional repairs. Wants to tackle this spring- mid April. Average life of a system is 10-15 years. Furnace and air conditioner are 16 years old now.
Heating system diagnosed, fault in the igniter. Installation of new igniter. Recommending installing new system for better reliability and up to code.
Heating system check and service. Humidifier was not running because of installation error in the low voltage wiring. Corrected and now running, HOWEVER, the humidifier will continue to operate ineffectively and may even start leaking due to the location of where/how it’s mounted. Recommended installing on the supply side of the system. System is 2 years old, average life is 10-15 years. Continue routine maintenance for prolonged life.
Heating system check. Found potential mechanical fault in the blower motor. Flame sensor was dirty, removed and cleaned. Leaving the fan motor alone for now. Furnace is running safe. Consider replacement, system is 10 years old. Average life of a system like this is 10-15 years.
Found condensate pump trying to pump, but not moving any water. Replaced pump, and the issue was not resolved. Traced drain line under the house to find that it is routed to drain outside the foundation by the ac unit. The hose where it penetrates the foundation is frozen. Thawed hose and verified pump operation. Spoke with customer about options for long-term solution. He will contact a plumbing company to install a floor drain at the furnace. The furnace is currently draining into a bucket, and the humidifier is off at the thermostat.
Completed furnace maintenance. Noticed that the indoor blower wheel is beginning to become dirty. Recommend cleaning to prevent damage to the unit. Furnace is 1 year old, and will remain under manufacturer warranty with continued preventative maintenance. Discussed air scrubber with customer to eliminate allergens in the home. Customer would like to be reminded of air scrubber with the next maintenance in the spring time.
Installed and configured new TCE power door. Verified unit operation.
