Performed maintenance on 2025 Trane Heatpump. 1. Visually inspected condenser coil for debris/ dirty. 2. Inspected condenser fan motor. 3. Inspected condenser fan blades. 4. Inspected/ cleaned wiring connections. 5. Tested compressor/ condenser fan motor capacitor. 6. Checked compressor amp draw. 7. Checked condenser fan motor amp draw. 8. Inspected / replaced return filter. 9. Inspected return plenum for debris/ dirty. 10. Inspected evaporator coil. 11. Inspected blower motor/ blower wheel. 12. Checked blower amp draw. 13. Measured temperature differential from supply to return. 20 degrees measured. 14. Tested capacitor and contactor (outdoor electrical) 15. Rinsed condenser unit to promote heat exchange 16. Tested emergency heat and found no issues Measured high start amps on the outdoor unit 100+. Advised to add hard start kit to ensure compressor and related electrical components see maximum life span. The most wear and tear that gets put on these components is on the initial star
Came out today for QC visit on new install. Started inside at t-stat (Honeywell) turned system down to check over unit. System is level all wiring is good no error codes. Getting over 20 degree temp split. Drain line is draining at this time. System is clean. And operating as designed. Outside unit is level all electrical components are good and tight. All components are operating as designed. Pressures were within manufacturer specifications. Unit in good working order upon departure. Thank you for your time.
No cool- One system down flow R22 system converted to R421A. Found thermostat intermittently failing and not communicating with equipment. Ran diagnostics on all electrical components and refrigerant charge. High voltage wiring conduit wasn’t connected properly at disconnect for outdoor equipment. Missing insulation on suction at outdoor equipment. Blower motor has significant amount of build up/debris. System is low of refrigerant. System has drop in replacement refrigerant (R421A) used in place of R22. Recommend replacement of entire system due to refrigerant loss and other repairs needed. Did not have replacement Honeywell thermostat on service truck….. running to office to pick up inventory then to return to install new thermostat. Client elected to replace her existing system and install a new heat pump. We applied for financing with John Browder. Finance was approved. We will contact Jean with eta for new system install. We will include new thermostat wire to outdoor and indoo
