Preformed heat maintenance on a single Trane heat pump 2022. I tested all electrical components on the inside unit. All tested within manufacturer specifications. Client did not need a filter changed at this time 20x20x4. All electrical components tested within manufacturer specifications on the inside units outside unit. Unit was heating upon departure.
Preformed 2 system heat maintenance on Trane heat pump 2021, and 2016 Luxaire straight electric heat. I tested all electrical components on the inside units. All tested within manufacturer specifications. The upstairs unit could benefit from having the blower wheel and evaporator coil cleaned as I did find that there were a good amount of debris/dust on them. The downstairs unit was good. The filters had been changed by the client before arrival. I inspected the units outside. Both units were in working condition. Units were heating upon departure.
Performed 2 system heating maintenance. Downstairs system is a 2021 Trane Heatpump. The upstairs is a 2016 Luxaire straight electric. I. Hacked amps, capacitor, filter, electrical, safeties, drains, and cleanliness. Systems are performing within manufacture specifications but there are some things that need to be addressed on the upstairs system. Recommendations 1. The upstairs system needs duct cleaning due to heavy dust build up in the duct work. This causes the rest of the system to become dirty resulting in failures. 2. The upstairs system has a large amount of growth on and in the evaporator coil. It is advised to do a chemical cleaning on the evaporator coil to better the health of the system and people inside of the home. 3. It is recommended to add a u/v light to sterilize the inside of the airhandler to combat growth. 4. The upstairs system’s blower motor is matted with dust.
