Customer requested service due to noisy coil. Checked operation on unit to investigate report by customer that there is a noise coming from the unit like something is out of balance or possibly loose. Inspected the blower compartment, blower housing and monitored the blower wheel while the unit was running. Cycled the unit on and off to watch it start from a stopped position. Service tech did not see hear anything out of the ordinary, no sign of vibration or rattling or anything loose. I also went to the outdoor unit and cycled that unit on and off a few times, there is nothing abnormal with the outdoor unit either. The house is very quiet, the unit is in the attic and sitting directly over the guest room where the noise is being heard, I believe it is just the normal sound but is carrying through the return and is causing it to be heard. Customer satisfied with diagnosis and will highly recommend Advanced Heating & Cooling.

Customer called for service on filter for for tankless hot water heater. Service technician checked water heater operation. Heater only goes into high fire when water flow is over 7 gallons per minute. Checked hot water in master bedroom. Ran hot water heater with four different faucets and gallon per minutes was at 6, but water temp drops to below 99° and continues to fall. At colder outside temps the water heater may have a hard time maintaining a 140° temp due to cold street water temp. House has 5 full bathrooms. 2-1/2 baths. 2 laundry rooms and a kitchen. Problems seem to stem from water flow rates and design issues. The manufacturer of water heater is out of business. Recommend replacement of tankless hot water heater. Customer very satisfied with prompt courteous service. Customer will make decision on replacement. Customer will highly recommend Advanced Heating & Cooling.

Water on floor by wine chiller- checked operation of wine chiller. Both filters clean. Checked condensate drain and pan, both clean and working. Checked operation of condensate pump. Pump is working. Both pressures and delta T where set to manufacturer specifications. Checked operation of steam humidifier. Humidifier working. Checked humidifier for any leaks. None found. Could not find the source of water being on the floor. The water may have come from condensation from the wine chiller duct work, there was a spot that the insulation had come off of the duct work. Reinstalled insulation. Cleaned up water. Placed a pan under duct work to see if that is where the water is coming from. Water could also have leaked through basement w
