This UV bulb was well past its lifespan. You can see bacteria starting to grow on the bulb itself. When Ultraviolet Lights get old, they loose their ability to kill bacteria and mold and can actually act as a grow light. This picture also shows the limitations of UV light. You can see the badge at the bottom of the evaporator coil has mold on it because it is not in direct view of the Ultraviolet Lamp. Will provide options for removing the mold
