It was a miserable hot day. The technician did a great inspection under very uncomfortable conditions on two rooftop AC units. I will schedule next year’s annual inspection earlier in the season and earlier in the day for the sake of the technician.

I was a home service technician in Alaska, where I worked to keep homes warm and comfortable during the winter months. My job involved installing and repairing heating systems, including furnaces, boilers, and heat pumps. I also performed routine maintenance on these systems to ensure they were running efficiently and safely. One of the most challenging aspects of my job was working in extreme weather conditions.
