Arrived on site, checked in with customer and spoke of any issues regarding the hvac system, one at this time was the condenser wouldn’t turn on with the blower, after inspection it was found that that was just normal operation with a 5 minute delay, preformed entire maintenance checklist and cleaned outdoor coil, vacuumed out entire condensing unit taking out leaves and dirt, checked out with customer and got signatures.

Arrived at customer's residence and found system completely out of refrigerant. During leak inspection, found rubbed out compressor and CFM wiring on liquid lineset. Repaired wiring, checked condition of both motors, repaired the lineset leak, replaced filter drier, pressure tested, pulled a deep vacuum, and recharged 10.5 lb of R-410A into the system. Strapped all adjacent wiring in order to prevent further rubouts. Work completed. Service warranty.

Arrived on site and checked in with customer. Found system nearly flat with compressor still running. Compressor was hot and emitting a pronounced pulsating “thrumming” sound. Located leak and found it on equalizing tube that was repaired in May 2022. Recovered small amount of remaining refrigerant and repaired leak. Pressure tested, vacuumed system, recharged with R410A. System now operates properly in terms of pressures and amps, but the compressor now produces a rattling sound, leading to believe there is internal damage. Possibly due to oil loss or running with little to no charge on multiple leak occurrences, but could not be confirmed. Submitting parts order sheet for compressor under warranty as the current one, though currently not displaying measurable issue, can no longer be trusted to continue to function long term. System operating properly at the end of the service call. Service warranty on repair dating to 5/2022.
